DR. MOOKETSI MOGOE

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

With over 22 years of experience in urban planning and infrastructure development, Dr. Mogoe has shaped the strategic direction of leading projects across South Africa. His academic foundation, including Doctorate in Business Administration and dual Master’s degrees in Project Management and Urban and Regional Planning – complements his hands-on leadership in transforming complex development challenges into success stories.

At MK & Associates, his strategic oversight has been pivotal in advancing large-scale infrastructure initiatives, particularly those that enhance community living standards and foster sustainable urban growth. His tenure includes transformative roles such as managing diverse infrastructure portfolios at IDT and optimising project delivery capacities, where he has refined processes to drive both innovation and efficiency. Notably, his senior role as a Professional Planner at Central District Municipality, where he established and managed the Project Management Unit (PMU), highlights his extensive local government experience.

Additionally, he is a member of the Association of Construction Project Managers (ACPM) and the Project Management Institute (PMI), further underscoring his commitment to excellence in his field.

Drawing from a rich educational background in architecture and international trade, Mr. Seoke has cultivated a deep expertise that extends beyond traditional architectural design. Graduating with a Master’s degree from Tshwane University of Technology, he has consistently demonstrated a keen understanding of both the aesthetic and functional elements of architecture, which he seamlessly integrates with insights from his studies at the Thabo Mbeki African Leadership Institute. His professional credentials are further solidified by his registration as a Professional Architect with the South African Council of Architectural Profession (Pr. Arch), underscoring his commitment to excellence and comprehensive expertise in the field.

Currently leading MK & Associates, Mr. Seoke has served an integral role in steering the firm through a myriad of multi-dimensional projects that highlight sustainable and community-centric designs. Mrs. Nneheng Mogoe

With a wealth of experience in administration, disaster management, and development planning, Mrs. Mogoe brings a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to her role as Chief Operations Officer at MK & Associates Development Consultants. Her career trajectory has been shaped by several years of leadership experience in government and consulting.

Prior to her current position, she held significant roles in the North West Provincial Government, including Assistant Director for Integrated Development Planning (COGTA) and Deputy Director at the North West Provincial Disaster Management Centre. In these capacities, she played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of disaster management strategies, working closely with provincial departments to ensure readiness and resilience in the face of emergencies. Her work also focused on risk assessments, coordination of resources during disaster recovery, and fostering collaboration across multiple stakeholders to mitigate and manage risks.

In her role at MK & Associates, Mrs. Mogoe ensures the smooth operation of daily activities while aligning them with the company’s long-term strategic goals. She leads the company’s operations, overseeing key departments such as Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, and Facilities Management, and is instrumental in driving operational efficiency and fostering a performance-driven culture.
